The Deeper Window Association – A Veteran founded 501(c)3 Organization
The Deeper Window Association is dedicated to help families navigate dementia with proactive courage and authentic hope. The Association will offer services and social engagement programs to those living with dementia and support for their care partners through support groups, education and resources.
The Association was founded by Rear Admiral (Retired) Jose’ H. Belardo, MSW, JD and his wife, Elaine Belardo, BSN after Jose’ was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer’s at the age of 50.
The Deeper Window Association’s signature program, is a non medical social engagement program for people in the early to middle stages of dementia. The program will focus on dementia empowerment through peer engagement, music, art, drama, community service, and cognitive stimulation with hot lunches served.

Meet at 729 Pennsylvania Ave., Leavenworth, KS 66048 on Tuesdays at 11:00am until 3:30pm to explore museums and parks and have a snack!
A one day a week social engagement program is The Deeper Window Associations signature program. Meeting every week on Thursdays from 11:00am to 3:30pm, hot lunch provided at 729 Pennsylvania Ave., Leavenworth, KS 66048
Now accepting applications for Paid Facilitators, Paid Music Therapist, Paid Drama Therapist, Art Therapist, Program Participants, and Volunteers. If interested please apply!
